Schneider Rent Car is Sneider Araujo's company. We have been renting vehicles in Santo Domingo since 2017 and operating formally since 2019. The fleet is ours and we service it ourselves, so we know exactly what condition every car goes out in.

What documents do I need to rent a car?
A valid ID and a valid driving licence, in your own name and legible. We accept licences from any country — it doesn't need to be a Dominican one.
How do I book a car?
Over WhatsApp: you give us the exact date, we confirm availability for that day, and you pick the vehicle you want. Then you send us your ID along with proof of a US$100 booking payment, and we send back the invoice and receipt confirming your reservation. The rest of the total is paid on the day of the rental, when you pick up the vehicle.
Is there a deposit on top of the rental price?
Yes, a refundable US$200 deposit, separate from the booking payment and the rental price. It's returned in full when you return the vehicle, as long as there's no damage.
How do I pay the rest of the rental?
In cash or by bank transfer, on the day you pick up the vehicle.
What's the minimum age to rent?
21 years old.
Is insurance included in the price?
The daily rate includes the mandatory third-party liability insurance required by Dominican law, but it doesn't cover damage to the rented vehicle. For that there are optional coverage plans from US$8 per day — Clásico, Gold, Platinum and Premium — each with its own deductible. None of them covers loss of parts or accessories.
Is there a mileage limit?
No, there's no mileage limit.
How does fuel work?
The vehicle is returned with the same fuel level it was delivered with.
Can I pick up the car at Las Américas airport (AILA)?
Yes, delivery at AILA is US$30 round trip, any time of day — we just need your flight number. We also deliver to your address (US$30), to Punta Cana or Santiago (US$150), or for free if you'd rather pick it up at our office in Alma Rosa II, Santo Domingo Este.
Do you have baby seats?
Yes, they're available and arranged over WhatsApp when you book.
